How it all started...
“What Happens on the Mountain Can’t Stay on the Mountain” - Pastor Steven Furtick.
This quote perfectly encapsulates the journey. In 2022, I attended an Elevation Worship concert in the picturesque mountains of Pennsylvania. During that experience, I felt a profound encounter with God, and by the concert's conclusion, I sensed that He had imparted something significant to me.
Within a year, I received a calling into youth ministry and have remained steadfast in that commitment ever since. Guided by the Spirit of God, a worship team was established, named CHOSEN. This team would go on to become the leaders of Chosen Youth. We dedicated ourselves to crafting an environment where young people could come together and experience the same transformative power I felt on that mountain. Our mission was clear: to inspire and uplift through The Word Of God, music and fellowship, ensuring that each encounter with God left a lasting impact on the heart.
As we grew, so did our understanding of the challenges facing today’s youth. With society offering countless distractions and pressures, it became critical to create a sanctuary where vulnerability was met with compassion and faith was bolstered by community. Through outings, conferences , and weekly gatherings, Chosen Youth has become more than just a ministry; it’s a family.
We encourage every member to carry their mountain-top experiences into their everyday lives, influencing those around them with love and conviction. This journey, which started with a single concert in the mountains, has blossomed into a movement, reminding us all that what happens on the mountain is meant to shine brightly in the valleys of life.

The vision is to establish a space where teens can experience transformative encounters with Christ, empowering them to engage with our community and radiate their light.Through regular gatherings and events, we strive to provide opportunities for personal growth and spiritual development. Our programs are designed to be inclusive and welcoming, ensuring that every young person feels accepted and loved. By fostering a sense of belonging and purpose, we hope to inspire our members to become leaders in their communities, confidently sharing the love and message of Christ with others.
